Even Florence the Tuscan capital and birthplace of the Renaissance is within easy reach either by car or train.

Who isn’t in love with Italian cuisine? And one doesn’t have to go far! Monte San Savino prides itself for having a great selection of restaurants from the traditional simple pizza to hip and creative to sophisticated and elegant anything goes. Good food is always near and Wednesdays is market day - definitely worth a visit.
If 17 combined hectares of olives, wine and forest aren’t enough, then why explore the surrounding Tuscan countryside with a rented convertible, Vespa or bicycle (all can be had in Monte San Savino). Tuscany is bicycle racing paradise and the start of one of the most beautiful cycle tours is pretty much on our doorstep! HORSEBACK RIDING: Horse lovers old and young will have a good time at the stables La Fogliarina about 25 mins from the house offers summer ride courses for any age and will also organise horse rides through the tuscan countryside.
